Original: 

Existence of Kalamkari Prints dates back to 3000 B.C. and is till protected and practiced in Srikalahasthi and Machilipatnam towns of Andhra Pradesh. Thanks to the continuous demand and like for the intricate and rich designs Kalamkari art produces, it is still a choice of preference by the then emperors to the common man now. At Texvenue we maintain the originality of the art in all aspects, done at Machilipatnam cluster, we take the design hues from ancient Kalamkari arts, process is 100% natural and is similar to what was done centuries back and lastly all the raw materials including the vegetable dyes used are original and native to this art. All our artisans are very experienced and hail from the family that is into Kalamkari Hand-Block Printing since generations.

Sustainable: 

From the very beginning, Kalamkari process is eco-friendly and natural. Kalamkari Had-Block Print process use ancient technique that is still in use and no mechanical process could replace or substitute any step. Another noticeable fact is that only 100% natural fabrics and natural raw materials are being used in this process. Traditionally only Cotton fabrics were used but lately in order to meet the increasing demand for better fabrics and designs, many other natural and re-generated natural fabrics such as Silk-Cotton, Viscose, Modal, Bemberg etc. are being used. Overall we ensure that our process is totally sustainable and causes no harm to the environment or the climate.

Innovative: 

As we all agree to the fact that "change is the only content", we also agree to the adaptation of ourselves to the changing trend. The same goes for us too but with a slight difference. We at Texvenue have the best designers and technical experts who always work on innovating new designs, fabric and color combinations based on the upcoming trend in such as way that they feel modern yet have the touch of originality. We call our designs contemporary as they respect the likes of both worlds - Traditional art and Modern trends. Our customers prefer us mainly for our distinctive design language and the use of best fabrics which are made from our own looms.

Qualitative: 

Quality has always been part of our artisan DNA. We alwsys deliver high quality products to our customers. At each of our steps, we do not compromise on the quality standards, starting from the quality of yarn used to make our fabrics to the construction of the fabrics to the type of dyes we use for our printing, quality is surely maintained. Also, we get our products tested at nominated testing institutes so as to give our customers additional confidence on our products. In order to maintain quality benchmark, we are also working on GOTS certifications for few of our colors used. Also, the fabrics are sourced only from well established firms which offer export quality fabrics.
