                India is blessed with varied handmade crafts that are unique to its specified region. These handicrafts enjoyed royal and aristocratic patronage in the past. Presently, with industrialization, these crafts are being diminished slowly. The artisan number is dwindling rapidly. This downfall is due to the factors such as inaccessibility to technology, absence of market intelligence and poor institutional framework for the groups. Another major factor is the production and invasion of duplicate items in the market, which is making it difficult for the customers to differentiate between the traditional handmade and duplicate crafts. Due to these factors, the livelihood of traditional skilled artisans is affected severely.

             In order to minimize this very existing issues, ‘Texvenue Handicrafts Producer Company’, a GOI - Ministry of Textiles, Handicrafts Division's was incorporated, with an objective to encourage the traditional Indian art Kalamkari Hand-Block Print, by bridging the gap between craftsmen and buyers. We produce our products directly from certified and well-trained Indian Kalamkari artisans and offer a variety of authentic hand-block Kalamkari print range to the craft lovers across globe.

We provide one-of-its-kind experience to our customer by offering "Build to Order" for any product you wish to buy in bulk. All that has to be done is to choose the set of Hand-Blocks i.e. design you wish to have on your fabric and let us know the quantity, type of fabric (any natural fabrics) and the lead time so as to check for the feasibility and process the customized order.

 CLUSTER DEVELOPMENT

               As a Producer company established with the support of Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, cluster development would be an integral part of the company's vision along with being the best producer of Kalamkari Hand-Block Print. 

​

                  To meet this purpose, a clear plan is laid out by Texvenue, in which the Cluster development is further divided into Personality Development, Establishing new Units, Providing better work atmosphere, Training New Artisans, Organizing Design Development Workshops, Seminars on Business Development, Participating in Product Exhibitions etc. which all together are targeted to help in increasing the income of Cluster Artisans.

      Directorate of Handicrafts (DCH), Ministry of Textiles, GOI, Andhra Pradesh (Vijayawada) office along with State Government agencies such as Lepakshi, Shilparamam work with us closely and extend all possible supports including financial aids from Government Banks such as NABARD and other Nationalized Public banks.

      In the years 2021 and 2022, many events were planned and organized by Texvenue with the association and support of of DCH, Vijayawada. Few of these events include 12 Days Entrepreneurship Development Programs at Machilipatnam and Pedana hubs, 10 Days Exhibition of Kalamkari products in Vijayawada and Machilipatnam, 2 Day Workshop/Seminar in Vijayawada for 100 artisans etc. The events witnessed representatives from District and State Government bodies as guests and benefitted over 200 artisans overall.
